  • Memorial Board Application

  • Members and friends of the Synagogue frequently memorialize loved ones by arranging for plaques on the Yahrtzeit Boards installed in Memorial Hall on the north side of the Synagogue building.

Each memorial board includes a lamp adjacent to each plaque, which is illuminated annually during the month of the yahrtzeit, as well as on those occasions when Yizkor is recited. The Boards and their plaques, each cast in brass, are a permanent memorial to the departed. While each plaque bears only a single name, we try to group families wherever possible.
