Celeste Noelle Gebhardt, daughter of Erika Stone DuBose, will become a Bat Mitzvah at Congregation B’nai Emunah. Celeste, known as Sunny to her friends, is a student at the Union Freshman Academy. She is part of the Union Marching Band program, Renegade Regiment, that recently placed 9th in the Oklahoma Bandmasters Association 6A state championship. Celeste is also on the Union Varsity Winter Guard team, that will compete in Class A World Championships in April. She is President of Union’s National Junior Honor Society, and is currently working toward her Gold Award in Girl Scouts. On Sunday mornings, Celeste works as a Madrichim at Temple Israel during Shorashim alongside Sarah Downing, her previous teacher. Over the last year, she has studied under the guidance and care of the incredible Jackie Lasky. Celeste is happy to celebrate her day with family, friends, and the Tulsa community.
