Behind the Lifecycle is a new series designed to take a step back and explore these moments before we encounter them in real time. Each session will focus on a different stage of life, weaving together traditional sources, contemporary practice, and practical guidance to help us make thoughtful, informed choices.

Together, we’ll learn about Jewish burial and cemetery traditions, uncovering how our rituals work, what values they express, and what options exist for us today.
