The Roadkill Scribes of Oklahoma

  • Congregation B'nai Emunah 1719 South Owasso Avenue Tulsa, Oklahoma 74120 USA (map)

Join us on May 12 for Kedusha 101, an engaging workshop deepening our understanding of Jewish ritual objects. Hosted by The Kedusha Project of Emuanel Synagogue in Oklahoma City, this session features Oklahoma-based Jewish scribes who will lead a text study, exploring the history and significance of scribal arts, and providing hands-on demonstrations with Tefillin, Torah scrolls, and Mezuzot. Along the way, learn how they use Oklahoma roadkill to produce holy texts.

This workshop is another in our "Doing Jewish" series focusing on learning related to practical Jewish living. For questions, contact Rabbi Kaiman
