We begin this harvest festival with a celebratory dinner featuring seasonal and sustainable foods connected to the central ideas of the holiday. Following dinner, we’ll explore themes of sustainability and leadership as they are found in traditional Jewish texts. Optional study will continue into the evening. We’ll also use this opportunity to formally install our new board leadership and honor outgoing lay leadership. Special tribute to Dr. John Schumann on the completion of his term as President of the congregation.
