Choosing to include Judaism in our lives requires intentional action and an awareness of our relationships with the tradition. On Saturday evening, June 4 at 6:00 p.m., we welcome Shavu’ot with an evening of storytelling and reflection on our Jewish journeys. A central theme of this holiday is the revelation of Torah, in so doing we connect ourselves to the meta-narrative of the Jewish people. With a festival meal serving as our gathering point, our evening will include personal stories of Jewish life and learning shared by fellow congregants. We hope this encourages us all to use this holiday to engage more fully in sharing our personal Jewish stories. We extend a special invitation to this program to Jews by Choice and alumni of our Introduction to Judaism course.
